I will definitely be using them again in the future.I have struck gold fellow neighbors. My PC finally succumb of the deadly "blue screen" virus. It had served me faithfully since 2013, but regrettably gave out on me. Faced with the proposition of trying to get my old one repaired, which would require me taking it to someplace like Best Buy "Geek Squad" or to Metro Center, I, just for the hell of it Googled "computer repair near me" on my trusty Samsung phone and ran across a technician here in U City. I had him come by and he confirmed my suspicion that mine had died, but that he could put a new hard drive in my PC and get it up and running. After he left and later on that evening, it came to me that I should consider purchasing a new PC anyway, and he could transfer my data to a new hard drive inside a new PC. Mine was purchased with Windows 7 on it. I had updated to 10, but it would not accept Windows 11...so purchasing a new one with Windows 11 on it just made sense. This is where the magic started. This man brought his laptop by, helped me pick out a PC that would be sufficient for my needs. I ordered it online, and my wife picked it up that same evening. The next day he came back and set up my new PC, transferred my old files, got all my "out of date" programs running again......all from the comfort of my den. This young man is bad. He works on all the computers for Wash U, BJC hospitals, and others. Now you would think that all that service was expensive........it wasn't. Now I know he gave me a special rate, since I'm a senior citizen, and lost in the tech world.......but his price was awesome. I'm not going to post what he charged me, because I know it was just for me and I was very appreciative of it.............I gave him over twice what he charged me by the way though. He also solved a problem with my security cameras that popped up while he was here, just because he could. If you ever have need of a PC tech, please contact John at Ucity tech, 314-337-6138.
